A Simple Solar Solvent Still, Perfect For Organic Chemistry
I’m studying organic chemistry in college and I hope to move on to become a scientist and make important finds in the field of medicine one day. But for now, I’m still studying and trying to come up with ideas of my own. Anyone who’s done organic synthesis knows about all the waste that can build up during the post reaction. I know that I can get commercial stills that are designed to help me with recycling the solvents, but I’m feeling ingenious and I’m looking at building a simple solar still instead, something that’s powered directly from the sun. I just need to get a few key components and make friends with an engineer and I’ll be set!
