More value for less work is what lean manufacturing is all about

Obtaining more value for less work is what lean manufacturing is all about.  Implying that profits can be gained even with less effort involved can create larger profit margins when the concept works as it has been planned for.

Manufacturing industries in Japan first came up with this concept and it spread throughout the industrialized world as a means of eliminating waste whenever possible.  Whenever waste is eliminated, there will prove to be vast improvements in production and output of product.

Lack of wasted time and effort mean more benefit through higher production levels and less time is spent on removing the waste in the beginning.

Elimination of waste, both in time and product, will bring about an increase in the product and output and quality will be high.
