She Didn’t Have Any Bills
After my wife and I got married, we sat down and started going over our finances. We wanted to buy a house, but because I had taken on so many low interest student loans when I was younger, it didn’t look like it was going to be possible in the very near future. I explained to her that she would just have to be patient for a little while, until we were on top of our bills. I knew that it was hard for her to understand, because she didn’t have any loans to pay off. Her parents worked at the university.
