I kind of laugh when people think they aren’t challenging themselves enough when it comes to triathlons. I always hear people talk about how short the distance of a sprint triathlon is and wonder if it is enough to test them. I can tell you that any length of triathlon is more of a feat than most people will ever take on. It is true that this is the shortest of all triathlons but there is absolutely no shame in planning for one. Most golfers has the same problem and it doesn’t matter if they are already pro or just amateur and this problem that they have is what they call the “golf slice”. I’ve seen a lot of my golfer friends who are always throwing tantrums in the middle of a golf course and I can hear them say something about “stupid golf slice” or something like that.  But that kind of problem just disappeared for this particular friend of mind who have learned how to fix golf slice and he did it on his own. As a non-golfer, I’m not really concern how he have done it but I can see that whenever he plays golf and I go with him, I can see in his face that he is quite satisfied with his game nowadays.

Go Kart Racing: More Fun Than a Barrel of Monkeys

I love to take my kids out and let the go kart race.  Just to see the look on there face as the zoom by at 30 miles an hour.  Lately I came up with the idea of teaching them to make their own go kart.  I mean everything from building the frame to installing the Go Kart Wheels, so that they can fix or replace any problems they comes accross in the future.  Plus, this will help them with basic automotive principles they will need when they start driving cars, and since the will most likely drive a beater first they will need to know how to fix stuff.

If you like to enjoy the slopes on your snowboard, then you know you have to have the right bindings for your snowboard if you care about your safety.  That is why I only trust burton bindings for my snowboard.  It gives me the confidence to fly down the mountain without worrying about faulty equipment.  If you have ever bought another brand than you probably know what I am talking about.  I once bought an inferior brand and I ended up with a broken leg at the end of the day.  I am smarter about which bindings I choose now.

Run Up Stairs

Running up your stairs is a simple way to really help your vertical. Just make sure that you perform a lot of repetitions so you can feel strain in your muscles. If you live in a city with tall buildings, you could also climb the stairs in those buildings. As long as you can climb up a lot of stairs it does not matter where you do it, though. If you want to mix up the stair climbing, you could also try and raise your knees a little higher than a normal run.
