Pointless USB Gadgets – The Scourge Of The Computer World
USB gadgets are everywhere nowadays. There are USB gadgets that are designed to ease certain tasks. A few examples are USB flash drives for storing files, a secondary display monitor that can be connected via USB, and USB speakers. The problem with usb gadgets nowadays is that too many of the new USB gadgets are useless and just plain ridiculous. Take for example ThinkGeek’s USB Pet Rock, which plugs into your computer’s USB port and does… absolutely nothing. Another prime example is the USB Aromatherapy Burner, which plugs into your computer’s USB port and permeates your working area… something that an ordinary can of Lysol or some scented candles can do without wasting energy or sacrificing one of your precious USB ports. Something really needs to be done about the mindless proliferation of useless USB gadgets.
