Appraising my house
I’m in the middle of the home appraisal process again and boy is it a mess. I thought all the new rules were designed to get a better idea of the value of your house, but the guy I have doing it, is simply making up a number and then filling in the other documentation to support it. I know this is what is happening because when I pointed out an error int he apprasal that would have increased the value of the house, he simply changed the numbers to keep the end value the same–he is just fudging numbers to make it be whatever he feels like.
