Factors You Need to Apply to Your Weight Training Routine

Although we must train as hard as our bodies can during a weight training routine by taking every set to the point of concentric muscular failure, we must also understand that training intensity and volume are directly related.

This means that since we are training with 100% effort, we must limit the amount of time we spend in the gym and only perform as many sets as are necessary. In doing this we can prevent the chance of over-training and will allow our bodies to make steady, consistent progress. This is extremely important because progress is the ultimate deciding factor between those who make significant gains and those who make modest gains.
