Many are Treating Seizures with the Ketogenic Diet
I never in a million years thought I would be looking for ways to treat a child with epilepsy, but I am. Our son was diagnosed with epilepsy and has been having about 60 seizures a day. The medication he is on does help because prior to the medication he was having 100 seizures a day. Even though the number of seizures has been reduced, I want to reduce them further. That’s why I’m so interested in the ketogenic diet. I have read a great deal about how many people are lessening the frequency and severity of epileptic seizures in children.
