Going Green
My wife and I had been looking at the pros and cons of installing spray foam insulation in our home. We were fed up with rising fuel costs and were looking for any way to reduce our energy bill. In addition to insulation, the foam can also be used for sound proofing or muffling, water vapor condensation control, sealing and caulking material and void fill. We could also get a tax credit of almost $1500 by going green and improving the heating efficiency of our home. The estimated savings on heating and air conditioning costs was 35 percent which was good.
