Why I Don’t Do My Own Power Washing Anymore
I know I should have found a professional but last summer I power washed my own house. Well lets just say I power washed the areas I could reach. I couldn’t stand the look of the house anymore. It had green mold and mildew all over it and the neighbors kept acting funny about it. Like we were not worthy of living there.
I decided to rent a power washing machine and did it myself. I did not know that the green mold is still pretty tough to get off even with a power washing unit. It had plenty of pressure but it was a lot of work. I was not able to clean it all off but I got a lot of it off over the entire weekend.
A power washer is a great tool but I think you have to know how to use it. I also did not have any cleaners which I probably should have. Anyway, the green mold that I did power washing on come off kind of but it came back this spring already.
I was not going to go through all that work again and rent a power washing machine so I called a pro power washing company. They used the right chemicals and power washed the house up right. It looked so much better than when I did it myself. I really is a job better left to a pro power washing company.
