A Cute Gift
Only a few people really understand my sense of humor. Luckily, one of them is my husband. So when I presented him with a pair of bike cufflinks he took it in stride. My husband is very proper when it comes to dress and rarely wears things that are whimsical. He did not know what the occasion was that he knew that if I had bought those cufflinks for him that I must have a reason. I asked him to wear them to a dinner we were going to with a couple of friends. At the dinner my best friend and I announced that we would be competing in the local bicycle race that our town holds each year to help raise money for charity. My husband understood then why I had gotten him the cute cufflinks.
