We Are Blessed
We have been going to my dad and his wife’s place for Christmas Eve for about five years now. We usually have a nice dinner and exchange some gifts. However, with my brother being deployed yet again, I was thinking that we should add another tradition to fill out the evening. I’d like to put together care packages for military service people. It’s a great way to remind the kids that we really are so blessed and that not everyone is fortunate to be with their families at this time. It’s a good message to bring their mind to the true spirit of the day.
