The Maintenance Guy
He was called The Maintenance Guy. No one ever seemed to read his name tag and call him by name. Ever since he finished the maintenance training, he was immediately called a maintenance guy. It irritated him to be so defined by his job. And he was starting to wonder who he really was. He had spent years and years just going to work, then going home to pay a bill. He wondered when he was going to start really living. He had no idea how to get out of this rut he was in. He missed the easier days of his life when he was young.
