Desktop Computers And Privacy
We recently purchased our son a desktop computer to keep in his room. Originally, I had hoped that he would use it for homework, but it turns out that most of his homework is stuff for math and other classes that he doesn’t even need a computer for. Yes, he does use the desktop computer for his English studies and papers, but lately he’s been using the computer as a distraction away from homework.
He typically uses the computer for games and Facebook. It is amazing to me how much time he can squander online. I guess if he did not have the computer in the privacy of his room, then he might be a little more concerned about how he spends his time on it, which gives me hope that when we move it out to the living room he will be better.
